Aims to be fine dining but not quite there - and then there was the hair.... This is a very attractive restaurant a couple of miniutes walk from the Piazza del We (two couples) had a midweek lunch at this attractive restaurant a couple of minutes’ walk from the Piazza del Popolo in the centre of Ascoli. It is clearly aiming to provide a fine dining experience. It has a good atmosphere, it is well presented and the staff are polite and helpful. Whilst most of the food was good it is far from exceptional. Two pasta dishes were interesting and well cooked but the maccheroncini al ragu was distinctly average. The tiramisu al fragole was a good take on a classic dessert but the semifreddo was a disaster as our friend ended up picking a hair out of her mouth that had been lost into her dessert during the preparation. The staff did apologise but their response was rather underwhelming – naturally we did not pay for that dessert but it would have been nice (for example) to have offered the glass of wine our friend had drunk as being complementary. In summary, average for what it aims to be and so would have justified three stars but the hair in the food was unacceptable and so a two star rating is all that can be given. Expensive for the standard of food on offer - four primi, three desserts and one glass of wine came to an excessive €100

We went to this restaurant after seeing the episode of 4 restaurants and I must say we were amazed in the positive. They welcomed us with our 2 big dogs (35 and 45 kg) and we ate very well Very kind staff and also the owner was very clear in the explanations on the traditional fried food. 5 stars and praise as far as we are concerned

Ascoli Piceno restaurant, undoubtedly the first to recommend if you are in town; strictly traditional dishes are tasty and well served. The service is punctual and always present (perhaps a little too much). The outer courtyard carves out a small corner outside the city, really nice. Excellent value for money. Reservation is a must.

If I had to sum up the whole experience with one word this would be "FANTASTIC!". Dinner at the end of August with a friend, outdoor garden and many expectations. The design of the restaurant is graceful and very refined, the atmosphere is romantic and calm: those seeking peace during meals will be pleasantly surprised. The menu is varied, including both meat and fish dishes. The quality of the courses is excellent and the presentation of each dish is carefully studied in every detail. Not only will the demands of taste be satisfied but also those of sight. The dining room staff is attentive and friendly, with a professional and professional service. The owners are welcoming luminaries and are happy to chat, showing affability and courtesy. I found the bill perfectly proportionate to the quality and service offered. Expectations were certainly not disappointed.

Excellent! Classy, ​​professional and prepared staff. Excellent care in the preparation and presentation of the first courses and dishes. Wide choice of local and quality wines. In reality, traditional cuisine is limited to a couple of choices but the overall quality of the service is the best you can find in Ascoli and its surroundings. Fantastic location in the historic center a step away from the beautiful main squares on one side and the characteristic "Rue" on the other side. Costs definitely above average but absolutely justified. Highly recommended!

One of the most beautiful clubs in the whole city, indeed it is perhaps the most beautiful! Furnished with great taste, neutral colors, soft lighting, very nice rooms. The room with the fireplace has a mobile kitchen available for any show cooking evenings. For the warm seasons there is also an outdoor garden at the back of the room. A vast and accurate selection of bottles, from wines to bubbles, and a very interesting menu, it is difficult to choose and yet you are never wrong. The prices are fair, proportionate to the research offer and the care put on the premises.

In the historic center of Ascoli, not far from Piazza del Popolo you will find this table where you can sit for a nice gastronomic experience. The hyper dominant color is white, on the walls on the furniture and on the ceilings with brick cross vaults. My journey started with a carpaccio of beef, excellent the salad of raw mushrooms. I then tried the ravioli stuffed with the pink apple of the sibylline, I was afraid that the absence of ricotta in the filling would compromise the balance and instead of balancing with the mascarpone outside and the grenny Smith sprinkled on top! congratulations to the cook. Well moistened and spicy chicory. It continues well with desserts, not to forget that the owner's husband runs a famous pastry shop nearby.

The restaurant is located in the center of Ascoli Piceno in a beautiful building. The environment is cured perhaps a little plastered. The menu on the Ascoli tradition is excellent and presented very well. The price is appropriate to the type of room but cmq not low.

We were recommended Desco by our hotel and they did not disappoint. One of the more upmarket restaurants in Ascoli Piceno with beautiful decor inside. Fabulous service and a great menu selection and the best pasta so far. Washed down with our favourite preseco Bellavista topped off a great meal. Highly recommended and make sure you book as seating outside is limited yet inside is beautiful.
